@vbasic1 Even with mirror they shouldn't be left open, but these ones have a anti dust transparent layer protecting the sensor... it's very efficient ... of couse it doesn't hurt to be careful...

OMG! Put a cap on those cameras when they don't have the lens on. The sensors are being exposed to the elements, since they don't have mirrors like dSLRs. You don't want dust or dirt to get on them.
(They are both wonderful looking cameras though as well as their 'big' sensors).

@machoBaller213 Olympus E-P1 I think it is. It shoots HD and its like a digital camera size with interchangeable lenses.

Very nice look at those 2 cameras and quite informative - for example I didn't know that GF1 didn't have anything except Av control over video (whereas GH1 has good ISO control as well + some other things).
I'm actually considering to replace my Oly E-3 and 12-60 & 50-200 with it because it's so much more practical and lighter, and with 14-140 lens (GH1) it's a very competent HD video camera as well at half a kilo.
