This play by Marlene Winell was read by actors Denise Freestone and Waldo Jones for the opening of the art exhibit, From Holy to Whole in Fort Collins, CO. It depicts a confrontation between a retired fundamentalist minister and his grown daughter who has left the faith. They both struggle with the problem of loving each other on the human level while existing on different planes philosophically.
I need to thank everyone who have felt any emotions during the making or viewing of this.

How much discrimination have we seen perpetrated "in the Name of Jesus against the Living-Togethers, the Same-Sex-Attracted adults, those who choose to include alcohol in their diets etc?
Fundamentalism is quick to hold people up to The Rules The Bile Teaches... but slow to remember the guiding and over-ruling love and acceptance that Jesus demonstrated for fallen humanity.

63 plays, and no comments? Slack, guys.
Well written, and very well done, considering that the actors had to read from their scripts.
I have seen so much damage by religious attitudes that say, "I love you BUT..." or "I'll love you WHEN...". I am no longer a Christian, but if the Gospel has any over-riding message, it has to be of UNCONDITIONAL love.... freely given from creator to creature... who then is supposed to pass-it-on horizontally to other creatures.
