If the other people in the room weren't acting like assholes then maybe the bird wouldn't have bitten her. You say he is pampered but he doesn't seem to happy. I hope for the sake of your soul that you really do treat him well.

look at 00:18, the drunk moron was pretending to try and hit the bird numerous times and then the bird bites her not just once but twice to try to get her away from her dumb friends. and when she doesen't leave he continues to try and protect her and gets yelled at to, and i quote, "STOP THAT!". why didn't anyone tell the stupid drunk that? it's always the birds' falt, never the high human!

He wasnt pretneding to hit her. If you look properly it looks like they had another bird and bringing it forward which the one her shoulder didnt like?

wowwww you people are crazies. parrots very often get attached to one person and view them as their mate. i don't know if the woman whose ear was bitten was the bird's 'mate', but parrots' logic when they see a threat is to bite their mate to try and make them fly away, so they won't be hurt, or possibly wooed by a competitor. /bird ramble.

Does he pick out his feathers from his thighs? feather picking and other associated self mutilation is a common sign of intense stress, unhapiness and severe depression.. the video makes it look like he does have bald thighs, if this is so please check it out... thats not a good sign or a sign of a happy bird with all his needs fulfilled. If the video is deceptive and he is ok then i think the other advice in the comments dose not need to be repeated for you on the person upsetting him..

what's this thing doing in captivity in the first place? humans are so perverted to allow this imprisonment of all the other animals. and then they focus on handling techniques. ha. i feel for the billions of poor imprisoned souls who have to live in crazy situations like this. fucking nuts but legal and even encouraged.

Ouch! Hawk-heads are one bird I would not let up on the shoulder. I have to say this looks like a case of mis-directed aggression to me. No bird likes a hand flying down out of the sky over their heads, it looks like a predator. He couldn't bite the hand so he bit the human he was on instead.

Hawk Heads- one of the most agressive parrots

What is with you people and teasing birds? You people are horrible and fucked up.

Hehehe i hope that didn't hurt too much ;)
by the way, when you say the bird likes the attention, i beg to differ. if the bird liked the drunk to pretend to hit her then she wouldn't have gone into defense mode. maybe you should read up on bird care and behavior for the sake of your beautiful bird.
