Taken from his 1980 TV special Ice Dancing - Tilt A Whirl is a Contemporary masterpiece choreographed by Lar Lubovitch to music by that most renowned of Contemporary Dance composers - Philip Glass. A very avant garde piece for it's time in professional skating which demonstrates Curry's willingness to push the boundaries of his genre.

  • Peggy taught me my first double jump. I never got to meet John but their style of skating is what I was all about. I'm sad that I can't do it now but at 62 I have great memories.

  • What a cool piece! Looks kinda Tharpish!

  • THis is where Ice Dancing should go - more Adagio than theatrical NITE MARE- RIP JOHN always loved you and Peggy -wish Peggy did more

  • Floskate, this is really beautiful and they skated so gracefull. Love the music too.
