@antimarxism Where did I admit I was wrong? I said it's easier for YT to pull videos than the deal with a lawsuit. That doesn't mean that the law is still in favor of YT. I guess you actually need to be in the entertainment industry to understand. I can tell you aren't just by the way you talk. You don't know anything about what you're talking about. I'm done with you, you're just another deluded kid who lets themselves get walked over.
@oloompop LOL! You just contradicted yourself and admitted you were wrong.
So again, "fair use" doesn't apply in regards to YT. YTube rules apply to YT, idiot.
And again, the original content owners, artists, etc.. file millions of complaints and get videos pulled.
The original poster in this thread wants to post/steal music at will and use for his videos. Got it, moron? YT, nor the artists, nor the corps, etc.. will allow it. "Fair Use" doesn't apply, moron.
@antimarxism They get pulled because YT gets blames for the upload, and fighting a legal battle over it would be a waste of Youtube's time, when it's easier to just pull the video and settle the dispute. YT could easily win in court if they wanted. Furthermore, they get pulled by the corporations that license them, the artist couldn't give two shits. Don't play the "you're stealing somebody else's work" card, because nobody is going to take you seriously.
@antimarxism He says you get flagged for posting videos with music in them. He didn't say posting a music video. If I pay for a song and put use it in a YT intro, or in a video-game montage, etc. It is covered by the fair use clause. Do something original? Is The Daily Show unoriginal because they air other people's youtube videos? Should Comedy Central get sued because of TDS using music-tidbits, and videos that they didn't get licensed? Oh yeah... Fair use. Grow up.
@antimarxism HAHAHAHA all of my points have been made completely clear, and you have failed to refute any of them.
