Our Great High Priest in the order of Melchizedek.........forever interceding on my behalf a sinner .........free to go and sin no more.......The Lord is my shepherd I shall lack no good thing......I am seated in heavenly places a joint heir to the throne of his majesty......by His stripes I have been healed..he shall keep us in perfect peace who's minds are constantly upon him.. greater is he that lives in us than he that is in and of this world...

@carlorgalli I posted: "I'll never endorse any belief which isn't Christian, -snipped- but especially ones that pervert Christianity". Unclear? Bell (like his mentor McLaren) teaches & promotes things that are absolutely not Christian, & that pervert the clear teachings of scripture. One BIG issue with Bell is that he openly denies the infallibility & divine inspiration of the Bible ( just for starters). Dig in & investigate - there are plenty of resources - compare it to the Word of Holy God

@serloren Yes I am a Christian:)
Ya got me thinking, so I went back and checked - apparently LDS does have doctrinal stuff written by Joseph Smith and compiled as "The Pearl of Great Price" by Franklin Richards (not the son of the Fantastic Four) in 1851. Since Smith's writing is from 1830-1842, I'd say the Gospel of Matthew written somewhere between 80-100 C.E. whoops it alright. And btw, ALL of us need to read our Bibles more my brother - it ain't just you! ;-)

"Pearl of Great Price"?? (2:08)
That's Mormonism, which is NOT part of Christianity.
I don't mean to sound rude, but honestly. Mormonism is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT religion, and has a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT doctrine, belief system, rulebook, view of God, view of the afterlife, account of history, and view of Satan.
No, Mormonism is not part of Christianity.
And "Pearl of Great Price" will never be a name for the God of the Bible. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
