I have the black mount on my board but never use it anymore. If you look at my older videos they are from that angle. I feel it is only good to use for working on your style which is what really helped me. The helmet mount point-of-view is sooooo much better to watch because it makes you feel like you are surfing the wave all over again from your couch as you can see. It is sooo cool to get a barrel which you only remember tiny parts of later on, yet then watch it in slow motion! :-)

@tonofpixels: Yes! It is an old Gath helmet I had from surfing 6-8ft Pipeline back in 1996. I just slapped one of the curved mounts which comes with the GoPro. I've been worked by 12ft Hawaiian sized waves and never lost a camera.
