here is a pianist who goes far beyond the technical demands of the piece and manages to bring ideas and personality to this very well known masterpiece.
she understands and shapes the SOUNDS of this piece like no one else.
btw, some foolish people insist to say that this is "just a study"...
this is a masterpiece. it's not about arpeggios nor the technique, it's about vital energy.

I agree, it's a terrific performance. She puts a lot of musical shape into which very few pianists do. It is usally just performed as a test as speed and power. She has the speed but the musicanship too. I would say this is world class and better than a lot of established names.

Honestly, both jszajb and modelstatue have some growing up to do. This is a stupid reason to be fighting when both of you are equally ignorant, deal with it. And jszajb, I have watched a few of your videos and it seems you dream to be a comedian and that you just graduated college. Is this how a graduate acts? Comedians must learn to accept criticism, they will deal with it a lot in their lives. Modelstatue, I have no idea about u, but dont take things so seriously, it will get you no where.
