  • knew it would happen...people are sick of TEENSY touch apps...now even Old folks can use touchscreens!!

  • @joker6374 LOL..That is funny.

  • that one dislike is someone that works at apple

  • eMenu, JukeBox, Chat, Games for Restaurants and Bars, all in one platform called LifeTable MultiTouch, check our video if you like this one...

  • Omg. omg! Im having a geegasm.

  • @RincewindsHat66 Another example: electronic/interactive paper is being intensively researched by various companies right now, we know that it's possible, there are prototypes but they are just not convenient enough yet. We can easily predict that in the future e-paper is going to be ubiquitous. Think interactive newspapers that you only buy once in your life or changing wallpaper. This is all going to happen in a decade or so. We can't predict what new inventions will come out of it though.

  • @RincewindsHat66 Yes, you can't predict inventions and breakthroughs. But you can predict where current cutting edge technologies breakthroughs will lead. For instance, we know that the efficiency of solar panels is consistently rising while its costs are plummeting. We can calculate, using current trends, that in 10 years solar energy is going to equal in cost that of oil and then will become cheaper than oil. This is a prediction that will come true.

  • @mesofius Kurzweil indeed made many sound predictions that ended up coming true (more or less), but I'm not talking about short-term trends, I'm talking about invention. It's largely impossible to predict what the world will look like 50 years or more because you can't predict when scientific breakthroughs will occur. Absolutely nobody could have predicted atomic power before the discovery of the atom, or gene-splicing before the discovery of DNA.

  • @RincewindsHat66 Most futurists made some pretty accurate predictions. Technology is one area that is predictable. Google-up Ray Kurzweil for more information.

  • That is sooooooooooooooooooooo cooooooooooooooooooooooollllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
