Didn't show us how to tie off the rubber bands or the finished product. Plus the fact that she came across as pretty full of herself.

the shaky camera makes me want to throw up.

go to dharma dyes website and get really cheap soda ash! i got 25 pounds for 20 bucks! thats alot better then in the craft stores, you only get enough to make about 1 gallon.. plus this is not a secret video.. i live in mn so i am tie dying inside alot.. i have always done it in my laundry tub and in buckets in my laundry room. do not do it right on the surrface you need some sort of mettal shelf like a locker shelf to put the shirt on while dying. also tons of people put it in to bags after

@DuncanCrafts yes you are missins steps.. your forgetting soda ash.. that is one of the most impotant parts while tie dying is to soak it before so the color is actually permanent. DO NOT just dip it in water right bofore.. unless you want a faded tie dye the first time you wear it! and even worse every time you wash it! not good at all! been there done that!

This isnt a super secret....

I agree with others; the shakey camera work is really distracting! I wouldn't walk around the room bobbing my head acting like a bored toddler were I actually there in person, so I don't see why the camera needs to emulate this.

wheres the result?

I really wish the camera person would have just held still. It really ruined the entire video.

Um... that's pretty misleading. That is NOT a good way to tie dye. DO NOT follow her instructions! There is no secret to this video. She is simply skipping steps and going the lazy route. There are many other much better videos out there to show you how to tie dye.

@oddamber sorry you didn't like it. We were just trying to show everyone another way to dye fabric if you didn't want to go outside. The bucket keeps it contained, and the Ziploc baggies keep it tidy. And she didn't skip any steps from our Tulip One-Step Fabric Dyes. You can see all our types of dye at our website at ilovetocreate[dot]com/tulipdye.aspx.
