My 3 oldest DBT, one northern male and 2 northern concentric females, one blue and one white. They are just begging for food. They were getting so excited they kicked up a bunch of crap from the crushed coral so the water looks dirty.
@deanthompson88 yeah they fight a lot I had up to 8 DTB's by the end of 2009, and I got tired of playing the musical terrapin. I have only 2 now and they are separated. I got tired of dealing with bite wounds. They bite once by mistake, then they bite back because of the smell of the wound. My blue female had to be on antibiotiques for several weeks because of scepticemia cause by a deep wound. She's all good now, but i learned my lesson. You need a minimum of a 150 ga tank for many DBT.
@deanthompson88 some people have better luck than me keeping groups together. But generally the rule is the more room they have the less chance of agression there is. its a hit and miss. It can happen with ANY kind of turtles.
do they ever fight? awesome terrapin by the way

Can the different species breed? Like the Texas and the conctric or like the ones u have in this tank?

@jkl1041 yes they can. not recommended though, breeders try to keep subspecies without mixing them up on purpose.
