Ruff 'n' Tumble Remake - Level 1-1

Although this should be running at 60fps, youtube seems to want to run it at 25fps :( This is the reason the player sprite is missing at the beginning of the video.

Y'know I've been waiting for this for years! I was going to do a version myself but you keep on keeping it going, grrr! But gawd, you'v done a wonderful job with it. I really can't wait.

Say...I don't suppose you would be interested in sharing those gfx?! I'd love to do either an XBox 360 or a Nintendo DS version of this and having the highres gfx would be an inspiration. Perhaps we could partner on it? I was thinking of even contacting the original devs and seeing what they think.

I've been asked for graphics via another programmer who wanted to convert the game but at the moment I just want to concentrate on getting them actually finished atm. So I'll let you know when I get there :)

very very nice ;) but imho the whole graphics should be very little darker, and also i have 2 questions:

1. Will we be able to play with a game pad?

2. How many levels arent finished yet? cuz i really cant w8 ;) cheers and big gratz it will definitly be an awsome remake ;)

1. Yes keyboard and joypad can be used, along with fully configurable controls.

2. All levels are finished, gameplay-wise. Although theres still plenty of graphics to be redrawn. I'm about 65% done I think.

I'm hoping to have it completed by the end of year :)

I am a huge R'nT fan from the Amiga days.

Your remake looks gorgeous.

However, given you've used the original graphics, I'd had also kept the original music, better IMO.

I have to agree with jimbotron70. The original music would be so much better.

It looks awesome other than ruff looking a little odd. I also have to agree with maciko89 on having the backround darker.

Other that those 2 gripes and one minigripe your doing an amazing job!
