The Dino IS a Ferrari. Ferrari built the car except for the engine, and as the man says, even that was so they could meet the race qualifications they had spec'ed it for. It even says Ferrari on the ID plate. Enzo didn't want the car MARKETED as a Ferrari, but it is a Ferrari. If Honda builds a car, it's a Honda...even if they put Acura plates on it (as they used to do)...and this is a Ferrari. And a beautiful one at that...

Also do not forget that the same power unit found its way into another Legend. the Lancia Stratos HF used the Dion power unit , & that won several pre world Rally Championships,one of the true grait power units.

I briefly owned a Dino in the early 70's. It was bought in a harebrained scheme as an investment by a group of 20+ year olds. I was the only one who drove it , at night in Westchester County with no registration, insurance, or plates. It was a wonderful car, sexy as hell and attracted women like a magnet. It was so expensive to get re-tuned that my share of the profit went out the window. Worth every penny!
