i have three series 2 land rovers and an old austin mini van. no offence dude but what kind of arse would think a vw camper and a toyota yaris would make good cars??!!!! my dad had a vw camper, it was shit, my grandad had a toyota yaris and it was shit.

Good choice, I've got a land rover 90 csw, its a 1984 model, and its the best car ive ever owned. It was standard when I bought it but then I got the magazines and thats when I started modifying it. Their so easy to repair, mine doesnt have any complicated ecu's or sensors to go wrong like modern vehicles have. Its never let me down, when it does break it always gets me home, not like a modern car and the parts are cheap. Their the best 4x4 by far, Check mine out and let me know what you think

We have a Defender 130 TD5 with a fibreglass canopy on the ute. We do a lot of long distance touring thru the Australian outback. The Defender is expedition-capable from scratch but of course I've installed quite a few extras like dual batteries, fridge etc. It carries enough fuel, food and water, extra tyres, camping equipment plus spares, HF radio etc. to stay away from civilisation for a long time - and is frugal on fuel. What other car can do that?

My first driving a car is LR Series 2 when I was 12 yo and she was escorting me to get drive licence on 18 yo. Now, I am 49 yo and since I used another vehicle, I never have had a though car and make me really pride to be owned like LR then plan to build a LR Defender 90. Good choice dude.....LR is a legend.....

Hi dude i have a landrover Defender 90 she has a galvanised chassis and a stainless steel exaust she,s a 300tdi. I,ve had her since 99 and she is a bute. Had a problem with the head after 150 thousand but nothin else,,

Defender 90? Those go for big bucks in states! Jeep wrangler, defender d90 or hell get BMW 325i with 5sp

Great choice ..I have a Defender 90 County myself , ( she's my other woman ) its the greatest ,would not trade for a Bugatti.....
