WiMAX:What it is and what it means

In many areas, Wimax is absolutely awful. Company's like Bell heavily oversell areas and refuse to upgrade their infrastructure. The result is an absolutely pathetic internet experience.
Bell also uses algorithms that fake tests from speedtest (dot) net and temporarily loosen up the connection.
Normal internet browsing get oodles of very long delays before anything happens. It's like waiting in line every time you click on something.

Well, A very low grade presentation.I'm interested on the last comment that people will not use them! he is totally wrong and guess what Motorola is deploying/deployed commercial networks, more people will buy more cheaper the rates will be; isn't that simple.Any how good info for 2-3 grade students.

I live in Las Vegas and have WiMax internet service. The guy is right, people WILL NOT use the service because if you are not directly under a service tower, you are lucky to get service. We have 98 towers in las vegas, and the service is soooo slow it's not worth having. It's rather a nusiance than anything else. Clear is having a hard time selling it here in Vegas, which is why they dropped the rates drastically. sprints 4G laptop card out performs WiMax cards. WiMax is failing in Vegas

i purchases wimax CPEi 300 (Motorora)from Wateen Telecom in pakistan, you all will be amazed to know that they are providing substandard cheap unbranded adaptors with this motorola device and they are opnly blaming Motoroal for providing this junk, wake-up call for Motorola, dont buy Wimax CPEI 300 IN pAKISYAN FROM wateen.

we have WiMAX in Pakistan nationwide with no data limit at around A$350 -450 per year
