Seems like everytime I see someone low side, they're riding crossed up. I don't know if that has a huge influence, or if there are other factors, and that's just a coincidence, or a small factor.

Note the black tire 'skid' marks on the track surface of the crashing bike.....looks like the rear tire (sidewall) was losing traction and even hopped a spot or two before totally letting go.
