Nice demo of the UI. I just got a raincheck from kohls for one. Surpisingly jcpenny.com appears to be still selling them. How much did you get yours for? I hope they come in soon. The hardware does sound promising which is why I would like to purchase one. Where can I have a look at the MID you have that looks to be loaded with android?

@dc120 The other device is and Orphan M70003 tablet. Stay away from it. However there is a device that looks the same and is more powerfull with a better battery called the aPad 7001. If your looking you want one with the Rockchip CPU and DSP. Caution: if you order one on ebay your likely to get the Orphan one instead. People trying to rip you off sell them as the same even though its $50 cheaper device.

I got the novel for crazy cheap with Kohls discounts and coupons.

Can you tell me if this device can open PDF documents from the web browser? I cant seem to find the answer anywhere. Need to know for journal articles.

Also I couldnt catch the second device that has "MID" on the back. What is that one? Can you go a demo on it, or tell us where you got it? Thanks!

@vincent357 I just tried it to see, and yes it does. After you dl the pdf from the web browser you have to import from sd and it will show up.

I got one for less than $100 at Kohls after discounts, Much better after the 7/4/10 upgrade. I'm looking forward to the new update with android marketplace support in the future.

So Kohl's initiated the recall? What a bunch of boobs. Now I'm waiting at least an extra two weeks for this device when I'm quite capable of d/l'ing and installing a firmware update myself.
