he seems like he would be the best friend you could ever have. love john cameron mitchell. not only is he a talented singer, actor, and director but he's quite a talented comedian too. you can't find true talents like him much anymore.

I have really liked JCM since he was in The Secret Garden on Broadway around 1992 I think it was, maybe 1991 or so. He was in The Destiny of Me after that at the Lucille Lortel theatre and I wish I'd had a chance to see that one. I really don't think of him as Hedwig (though I've seen the film) because I knew of him from so long before that. Beautiful singing voice he has.

Apparently, you care about what this man does, because you bothered to listen to what he said and get angry about it. One could also argue that the man who wrote the most successful rock opera of the past 20 years is not a "nobody" (although he does appear quite little).
Also, i see no parody of any culture here. I believe he is honestly preparing to perform his material in a japanese style.
Perhaps you are the racist for assuming someone playing the Koto is a parody of Japanese culture.
