I was bored one day, listening to a lot of Foo Fighters and looking over my video history, I quickly realized that it's lame to have that one Combine Authority video without having the flipcoin side of it featuring the resistance. So I picked out a good Foo Fighters song for the video, and had at it. Did it in about...7 hours straight? This is the first dirty editing floor cut. I left in the HUD in most shots, some you can see the physgun, but I was more interested in the concept of the whole thing than stressing my self out with details that I'll end up forgetting and having to reshoot shitloads of scenes, no thanks. I just want to get it out there already after all the work.
I learned a few nifty camera machinima techniques and other things making this, fun. To be completely honest, I'm not 100% happy with the end product, I didn't have enough time in the song to put scenes in and I couldn't pick anything to cut. It's not great, but it's not bad. I didn't have as many opportunities for shots as I did with the Combine video I made, oh well. I can always come back and make a cleaner/better edit.
Anyway, 2:13 A.M...July 1st, 2009 - done. A day off wel....errr....creatively spent.
