I said meat and muscle aren't equal: Muscle can be meat if used for consumption, but the word meat doesn't exclusively refer to muscle tissue.

@Ebvardh Yes your right! And the other guy is also right in the fact that lobsters and all crustaceans are too stupid. But I can’t say I feel empathy for the lobster and I would feel the same if it was a human. Plus by your definition the tail is muscle or meat most Americans are scared of the organs, the mustard or butter, it is a different definition. When I GUT a deer that is not considered meat but you can make it as broad as you want.

Meat is any kind of biological tissue that's used for consumption. This can include marrow, organs, skeletal muscle, nerve tissue, skin and fat.

Muscle refers only to tissue which is capable of executing movements or cardiac tissue.

Without a spine, without proper nerve endings and a brain to receive the impulses that transmit pain, the lobster will feel as much pain as does a tree.
