Satyrix1: The band was "The Men of No Property". The singer was Brian Moore (RIP). He died a few months ago. His used the Nom de Guerre "McIlvogue" on the three of four albums they produced. He was also very well known as "Cormac", the cartoonist for An Phoblacht / Republican News for many years.

Yes indeed, that is Big Joe at about 110 and 130 in this video. These phots were taken the night of "The Battle of Inlis'Bakery" when Joe and about 5 of his men held off 600 British soldiers.
The photo Big Joe with his M1 Carbine remains one of the most iconic images of the Irish Struggle.
