47 Second Solve

I've been cubing for about 3-4 months now. I'm 41..so, I remember the first Rubik's craze. I've never been able to do more than one side before rediscovering the cube at the behest of my daughter. I've got all 21 PLL down.. and for the most part have the olls.. although slowly. I probably have 50 of the 57 memorized. This is a pretty quick solve.. nice R perm after an OLL I don't see that often. My average is about 50-52 seconds.. and my personal best is 33.63 with PLL skip. I'm doing full Fridrich.. and am very open to advice on how to get faster. Thanks!

cool.. average is still 23.. pb is now 14.98 -- my downfall is f2l. Still working on it.

I know all of the PLLs and OLLs.. and my average now is actually 23 seconds. PB is 17.66

You can tighten the screws on your speedcube

ok. i think what is really bringing you down right now is your cube. your moves are good and fluid and everything, you dont have too big pauses in between your steps, so that's fine.

You should really consider getting a new cube and a lubricant, i think it would really speed you up... i know it really made a difference for me...

thanks man. I actually bought two "speed cubes" from ebay. They're adjustable with screws.. but, fall apart. The pieces actually just fly out as I'm solving. Crazy. Where should I go to get better ones? And, I'm subscribing right now.

what I see that is slowing you down is your cube so you can buy CRC silicone in a red can or Jig-a-loo it's you can get those at a true value or ace hardware and I notced some pauses during your algorithms so just practice and you are good to go =]
