PROTEST HELD AND PEOPLE DID NOT CELEBRATED "LOHRI" IN PROTEST AGAINST PHE-PDD MINISTRY.

The massive protest demonstration, held the people did not "celebrated Lohri" in protest against the "anti poor people decisions of the govt" for hike in the drinking water tariff "JAZIA".

The effigies of the PDD & PHE Ministries and departments were burnt by the residents, prominent People .

Addressing the Protestants Sunil Dimple president Jammu west assembly movement said that he personally took the matter of curtailment of power and hike in the water rent with the Govt and all concerned to roll back the tariff and now we have no other option other than to intensify the agitation against the Govt, PDD and PHE for the curtailments and the imposing Jazia on the water.

He held the MPs, MLAs of the parties responsible for this imposition of the Jazia on the poor people of drinking water who remained silent as they only talked for the rise of their salary and benefits only during assembly.

He demanded the chief minister OMAR ABDULLA and the PHE Minister Taj Mohidien, to immediate roll back the increased Water tariff "JAZIA" which a poor man is unable to pay.

Sunil Dimple he strongly criticized the uni lateral decision of the govt for increasing the drinking water tariff.

He demanded and said that people are facing acute scarcity of drinking water, so the Work on the Supply of Water to the People of Jammu City from RIVER CHENAB of Akhnoor should be started.

Sunil Dimple held power PDD Ministry for its failure to provide un irrupted power supply and frequent scheduled and un scheduled curtailments for 10 to 15 hours daily, low voltage of the electricity in the winter capital Jammu City and particularly in the Jammu "west assembly constituency" as all the transformers of the constituency are defunct and of under capacity.
Sunil Dimple said and alleged complete failure of the PDD and PHE Ministry and the department and the people of the constituency are facing lot of hard ships.
Sunil Dimple strongly criticized the Omar Abdulla who is also having PDD portfolio for increase in the power cuts .
Sunil dimple demanded the chief minister to install the fresh new reciving station of 50 MVA at Janipur to over come the load problem and the curtailment of power cuts. He demanded for fresh electrification of wiring strengthens of the electrification system, transformers, He demanded for the up gradation of all the transformers of the localities of the Jammu West constituency and the Jani pur Grid Station.
He demanded Omar Abdulla to hold fresh "Assembly Election" in the West assembly constituency as the MLA of the Constituency has been expelled from the BJP party and no develop ment is taking place in the constituency.
