On the 28-07-09 i went gliding at Upavon with air cadets in a viking t1 glider. I had an amazing time so i made this video to show you guys the experience i had. Im sorry there is no footage of the flight. I wasn't allowed to film. I got towed up by a winch which pulls the glider along the grass runway at 60MPH in 2 seconds the a sudden climb at a 45+ degrees angle. We then turned crosswind and i got control of the aircraft. I had a little fly around untill it was time to land, so we kept flying crosswind untill it was ready for our turn on final approach. We landed succesfully and after i got an extra 2 flight. WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! So i hope this video really enspires you into joining the air cadets. I had a great time and hopefully you will to at some point.
