dude the cementum is dentine
-
at 1;34 he says enamel has Tomes' fibres. Tomes' fibres only exist in dentine, and run through odonotoblastic tubules. The only time they appear in enamel is in the form of enamel spindles.
The only time Tomes' appears in relation to enamel is Tomes' process which is a picket fence like extension from ameloblasts for excretory purposes.

ecelente explicacion de odontogenesis

@funkeystu ya dude. The lighter colour area is def'n predentin.

Altough you have mentioned later red part is dentin, there is tongue slip to cementum in first mention. you can add an annotation to prevent confusion.

2.odontoblastic process is inside the dentinal tubule, so it's pretty much the same what he is talking about (at this resolution)as long as you understand the differences between them
3.Tomes fibres or odontoblastic processes are synonims! the so called 'fibres' in the enamel are NOT Tomes fibres, but enamel prisms!
he says in the begining that the red structure is cementum...but it's dentin!! i think he was tired that day :))))

The Tomes process is found on the distal part of the ameloblast and is responsible for the formation of enamel prisms... wheras the odontoblast process forms the dentinal tubules and continues to occupy them throughout life... it is thought to be responsible for dentine sensitivity!
