Heavenly - Percy & Calypso

READ FIRST! AND NO MORE COMPLAINING ABOUT CALYPSO BEING YOUNGER THAN PERCY! I choose her for a reason so if you don't like her then don't watch or complain to me! [Spoilers for Percy Jackson: The Battle of the Labyrinth book]

Calypso is Abigail Breslin from Nim's Island. THIS IS NOT A LOVE STORY, it's PURELY based off of the book!

Description:

This is based off one of my favorite chapters in Percy Jackson: The Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan called I Take A Permanent Vacation (and a few scenes from the previous chapter). If you haven't read it then I'll give you a brief description about what happens. Percy and Annabeth go to Hephaestuss forge (which is inside a volcano). Long story short, Percy makes the volcano erupt and shoots out of the volcano. When he wakes up he is on an island called Ogygia where Calypso lives. We learn that Calypso is the daughter of Atlas (a Titan who is an enemy to the Greek Gods) so as a punishment she is to remain on Ogygia for the rest of her life (harsh, but the Greek Gods dont like to take any chances). Hephaestus comes to the island and gives Percy the big ultimatum: Stay on the island with Calypso forever or return home (I didn't include this in the video because quite frankly it's hard to find anyone who can fit a Greek Gods description). Percy decides to return home, knowing he'll never be able to see Calypso again.

Specific scenes from the book:
0:00-0:03 Percy wakes up after the volcano
0:10-0:13 Annabeth and Percy are about to be ambushed, Percy tells Annabeth to run for it, Annabeth kisses Percy and then runs off
0:15-0:17 Percy hids in a cart to hid from the Telkhines (the dog looking animals)
0:17-0:23 The Telkhines try to burn Percy
0:25-0:31 Percy calls to the ocean, which makes the volcano errupt with Percy being flown into the air
0:31-0:41 Percy lands in the ocean in Ogygia and Calypso comes to rescue him
0:44-0:45 Percy sees Calypso talking to a messenger from the outer world (most likely Hermes, but we never actually find out)
0:49-0:54 Calypso tells Percy that only Heroes that can never stay fall on her island and Percy is in denial
1:05-1:07 Calypso gives Percy Nectar of the Gods so he can regain his strength
1:09-1:11 Calypso tells Percy that her punishment is to stay on the island
1:12-1:15 Calypso is about to tell Percy the reason she is alone on the island when they get a visitor who turns out to be Hephaestus
1:19-1:29 After a talk with Hephaestus, Percy comes back to Calypso and tell her that he is returning home
1:30-end Percy keeps his promise and plants a garden for Calypso in Manhattan

I honestly don't know why this is one of my favorite chapters, maybe because it was nice to have a break from all the pressure of Annabeth's quest and all the Greek Gods who mess with Percy's life (and I'm sure it was nice for Percy too). And we get to see a Titan who isn't trying to kill Percy, so that does make it a plus. But anyway, I hope you enjoy! Sorry the description is so long, if you read all this you are my hero!
