Melinda and Gabriel: Brother My Brother

Melinda meets Gabriel one day, and so she knows he can see spirits. One day, she's minding her own business and sees him standing outside a funeral home. She confronts him, hoping to talk him out of being the way he is, because after all - he's Melinda's brother. Gabriel refuses, and grows even angrier. That night Melinda looks out her window and sees him on her front lawn, in a funeral procession. She goes to the plane crash memorial the next night, knowing something will happen. The tower is struck by lightning, Melinda tries to save the kids and you know the rest...

After it's over, Gabriel realises he was wrong and decides to try and work with Melinda. He apologises, and Melinda accepts.

gabriel is her part brother because tom married her mom so he was her stepdad so gabriel is her stepbrother and gabriel has the same power i think because he got the power he was no born with it i think he was like the chosen one or sumthing but all i know that hes her stepbrother and i think gabriel knew that somehow i think from the ghosts.

tom gordon is gabriel's father and paul eastman is melinda's father, she just had tom's last name cause he was "there" when she was born.

@brookinette4 That's right. Faith(her mother) has only got 1 child - Melinda, so Gabriel is Tom's child. But Tom isn't Melinda's father so Gabriel isn't her brother in any way. The question is where did he get the gift from...
