So Rik is technically a zombie. I call all my friends that have been dead zombies, especially my mate Rob.
Come to think of it - I have a surprising amount of undead friends.

@YametePlease I think he had his first child while he was recording The Young Ones but he left the mother at the same time. Not sure of my facts cos I've not double-checked them. If it's true and he was pretty horrible about the whole family thing when he was younger and his accident made him a more caring father then good came out of it. It has changed him for sure.

Wow, I didn't know the bit about the blood disappearing mysteriously. Maybe love and fear of losing his kids, them being fatherless, and saying goodbye forced his body to recover. Amazing story.
I don't know the guy personally but I do know he's seriously changed ever since his accident. He's softer and more in touch with his feminine side from what I've seen/read. Maybe it happened for a reason.
I'm glad for him and all his kids that something good came out of such a horrible accident. :)
