NATO should get out of Afghanistan as soon as possible. They are a large part of the problem & not the solution.

There is no simple, easy or quick answer to the disastrous mess caused by 29 years of war, but it has to start with negotiations & withdrawal of occupation troops. If a peace keeping force is necessary, the UN has unfortunately done everything possible to discredit itself, but would still be an improvement on NATO.

I know the bomb was a complex issue, and it wasn't as clear cut a should or shouldn't as this song or the nationalists bitching about a potential land invasions make it out to be. As one of the 1/4th Japanese whose view on the greatest generation is always going to be cynical, I get that.

Still. Why a civilian target? Why the second bomb?
