The folk singer is brunette and he is promoting himself like "your gorgeous eyes are also black, coffee (which only rich people could drink at that time) is also black like me". (and again, black here means brunette). it is totally nothing against black people, it is not even about them. what's more, it is against racism, it glorifies being brunette by lots of arguments.
