Val Kilmer is the best Doc Holiday I've ever seen. He's ruined me for any other Doc Holiday. I've seen the movie dozens of times and it never gets old. Sometimes it just do a quick "Doc scenes" run through.

Val Kilmer is so cool. The coin in the fingers thing he does at 1:12 reminds me of the thing he did with the pen in Top Gun.

@BillysBelle Quaid did do the weight loss. It is rumored that he used arsenic to get the palor and loss of tremendous weight. He didnt have the Southern accent- but little is actually know about Holliday. Not one letter exists that he penned. Earp spoke about him...but most of what is known is from Bat Masterson. Holliday - was funny at times, but also had a temper.
