Same age as Alexis. Alexis started with a recreation class and then decided she kinda liked it.

Thanks. By the way, how long have you been doing gymnastics? Did you start at an early age? Alexis started late and this is her 4th year.

Alexis loves floor (she is a super tumbler) and vault. Beam is okay and bars are not the most fun but it's coming. I hope to have more videos up soon. Her sister is in the Topps program so maybe I'll get some of her as well. Good Luck this season.

Interestingly enough, my grandaughter broke both the major bones in her arm two seasons ago. We thought she would have to just touch the bars in each competition and take zeros but she went up and tried anyway each time and her scores went from the 5's to about 8.9 before the year was out on that event. We were very proud of her for her effort. Floor is her best event. What is yours?

Let me know when you do that. I probably won't have anything up again until September. Her younger sister will be in Level 4 this year and I may have some of her as well. What level are you?

Cool. Do you have any videos on YouTube? Alexis would probably love to see them as well. I plan to put more up this year but our competition season doesn't start until September so it will be a while. She has been moved to Level 5 so it will be new stuff this year.

What gym is that? And where is it located? Thank you very much for the comment. She works hard and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. This day was a good day.

Powerhouse Gymnastics in South Daytona, FL. Why do you ask?

Thank you for your comment. I know she will appreciate this.
Wow! I haven't had comments on this video in a very long time. She is now (just turned 15)...she is a Level 8 but March of 2011 was her last competition as she broke her hand & foot doing the bhs series on beam and now can't grasp the bar for her bars routine. Since starting gymnastics she has broken both bones in her arm, both hands (this time was bad needing pins, etc.) and both feet. She's done...but she was quite good until all the injuries.
