I also don't see Gitmo as a negative. It was Abu Girab that caused us an image problem as you say. Humiliation doesn't even compare to cutting the heads off people who are not Islamic. Who's side are you on? Are you Islamic? Or just a confused Liberal?

well you're getting there. you've sited a few flimsy examples. I'm proud of you, although I don't agree with you.  Why would you want to put these people on trial here in the usa? Forget the fact that Gitmo is in Cuba away from our shores and less likely to stir up the folks in NY, who are outraged by them coming to our shores. The plain and simple fact is that we have never tried combatants in civil court. They are at war with our country. They should be tried in a military court.
