Systor / xlntidea discmaster freaking out

We almost had this a year. About a month ago the color print cartridge wasn't updating it's color ink levels when a new cartridge was installed. Eventually, the print software was requesting a confirmation to continue before every CD because of ink levels. When trying to troubleshoot with replacing the black cartridge, the software started to give a continual error about not recognizing the cartridge.... And now this happens...

Xlnt, the company that makes the printer, thinks that I might be using refilled or non-OEM cartridges, but I've only bought new and only from Systor.

Update (2012): Recently, I ordered four print cartridges, but Systor sent me only two. The invoice shows four were purchased. There are only two that came in the box. Systor's customer service has told me that this is impossible and they can't send me the missing cartridges. If it is impossible, how come I only see 2 cartridges?

@jandalaser - After restarting, uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting, reloading, unistalling, reinstalling, restarting, Buying New Cartridges (by request of xlnt's tech support to replace the new ones we had just bought), unistalling, reinstalling, reloading ... 10 DAYS of this... We installed it on another computer. That worked.

Unplug the printer without cartridge in it. Leave it unplugged for 60 seconds. Plug it back in. Let it warn about the cartridge missing. Unplug again, and install the new cartridge. Once you plug it back in, it should recognize the new cartridge and levels.
