Try not to think of this as something healthy people will use out of laziness, but think of it as a huge step forward for anyone with a disability. With some modifications one of these can give someone with a spinal injury "new legs" and the ability to move around in society without a bulky wheelchair impairing them.

Segways are much better and seem a lot safer. As a person with a disability I have a segway and love it!
