That initial high C was lovely! I'm so sick of sopranos SCREAMING that note. This song can either be sung beautifully or it can be butchered. Most do the latter. Arteta does not. Brava

I have to say that I haven't found a better recording than that of Leontyne Price in her later recordings. Flawless

What an Angelic voice! I had the privilage to sing "la ci darem la mano" with her at an after-party in 1994. That night she also sang "Summertime" from Porgy & Bess & It's still the best version I've ever heard. Still hope to sing with her again one day. May she continue to be blessed for sharing a little bit of Heaven here on Earth.
