The CBC Band was Vietnam's most popular rock/pop band in the 1960s and 70s.

In this video was recorded 9 May 1973 at Saigon's 'Sherwood Forest' nightclub, where the band performed nightly.

In this video, they sing "People Let's Stop the War," a song fitting of the times. Only 3 months after the signing of the Paris Peace Accords and one month after the last American soldier left, the war continued for the Vietnamese... as it would for another 2 horrible years.

Also shown is a video clip of Jo Marcel and members of the 'Crazy Dog' Band.

  • An article about the CBC band is in the Houston Chronicle.

  • I'm glad to see some of them alive--I was in the CBC nightclub in Saigon 1971 when it was bombed by VC. The song they were playing was Purple Haze by Hendrix--one of the best cover bands I've ever heard

  • Just look how they played their musical instrument!

  • I became a drummer because of this band. CbC is the best....

  • CBC is the best

  • where are the band members now? Which country?
