Not really,most Mestizos look like Vicente fernandez, and the ones you see crossing the border are mostly natives who speak spanish,mestizos are normally light skin with strong european admixtures.

You are not Latin/Hispanic simply cause you speak Spanish,that's like saying your Anglo/British simply cause you speak English.
