@J4v3XpH4C3 Ha! Your comment is old, but I must reply. Hill was the guy who started the whole 'bomber' shit. Doing huge sets of stairs, gaps and rails. Oh not to mention doing tricks out of slides. A hard flip out of a 5-0 grind in 91'? Come on. Pat Duffy, Jamie Thomas and the like got their cue from this guy. You can dislike him if you want, but he made a huge mark in skateboarding.
@marokokisetter Yes I watched it just the other day. I never knew he blew his knee out which basically retired him. That's awesome that he's back into now, even at his age. I'm 34 and it makes me wanna put in a few more good years before I'm over the hill. Frankie seems likea real cool guy too.
I was a street skater and didn't have access to many ramps back in the day. I used to watch the first part of Band This to get hyped. Frankie used to kill those stairs. Anyone who didn't appreciate that obviously never skated street.

Dude was sketchy but went big. What ever happened to him after the late 80s/early 90s Powell era? I dont recall seeing him anymore once Blind, Girl etc got started.
OMG I have watched this vid so many times! Always one of my favorite skaters back in the day, he always did things bigger and faster than anyone else. Thanks for uploading this here, I havent seen it in YEARS!
when i bought this video as a kid,Frankie Hill was the best bit for me.He went for it in my eyes and me and my mate would tell ourselves that we need bigger nuts and go for it a bit more.

@MrDamianGomez : Actually I am 37 ... and I didn't like his style then, and I don't now. If you REALLY want a history lesson, people were "why is he even sponsored???" back then. Frank emerged just as companies like H-Street, SMA and PLAN B ruled ... NOT, Powell-Peralta ... If you ask ANY pro from that era, if Frankie Hill was on the level, you would been laughed at.
