  • @kayboi8o8 you are one complete idiot. This ISNT based on Fischer's life. The kid isnt supposed to be Bobby Fischer. I suggest you watch the movie before posting stupid comments.

  • the mom was such a bitch, I wanted to slap her. Who in their right mind would lay down and make a baby with her?

  • the movie is actually about Joshua Waitzkin a real chess player

  • Where is the Love button!!

Just by looking at the trailer I can see it's a great film!

  • A fictional account of the kid who was spoon fed chess from his father. Josh didn't just pick up chess from watching players in the park. His father brought him there to play chess. Fred Waitzkin wanted to create a chess prodigy. He even uses Fischer's name as a publicity tool.

  • the movie should have been bout bobby himself not an average IM who only had a few good wins!

  • This is, without question, my favorite movie ever! The casting director couldn't have done a better job in putting this crew together, All of the actors were at the top of THEIR games. The story of Josh's decency and good sportsmanship even though he was the best of the best is a good lesson for all. The endgame still makes me laugh and cry EVERYTIME I watch it! Think Chess is boring? Not after watching this movie you won't!

  • the little boy is so cute!!!<3

  • In a world that thrives on competition...in a world where magic is commonplace. is there a world where voice over narrators don't say "in a world?" Coz i want the world. No offense Don,

  • What a wonderful film, I enjoyed the film such a great deal that it peaked my interests in what Josh Waitzkin was doing in his life nowadays, and from what I read he's still a kind and dedicated individual.

People like that are an inspiration. I highly recommend watching this film.

  • The title dont make any sense. It should be "the next bobby fischer"
