Remnants of neanderthal children indicate strongly that they developed at a slower rate than current man, supporting the longevity of humans as told by the Bible (300 year life spans immediately after the Flood). If a person today lived for that long they would look exactly like neanderthals! Neanderthal children estimated to have been 3-5 old when they died have skull features that look VERY much like a foetus, again supporting the slow maturation of people in those days.

@Answerquestions1 Your question is based on the evolutionist timescale, which creationists like Dr DeWitt do not accept on biblical and scientific grounds. I think young earth creationists would say Neanderthals lived around 4 or 5000 years ago. And there is no evolution evolved. People were highly intelligent several thousand years ago, but it took the buildup of knowledge, building on what other generations have learned to finally get to this age of high technology.

if neaderthals lived for 400,000 years, and if they where as inteligent as homo sapiens, why didn´t they developed an advanced society. I mean I humans where capable of traveling to space and make computers after 100,000y of evolution, why didn´t neaderthals did something similar after 400,000years?
