Okay, another track, this time I went with a more progressive rock/metal feel!
Now, first track I have included acoustic guitar in, and since im not so used to playing on them, and I didn't give myself much time to practise the riffs, some of the acoustic parts are a little off-beat with some slight mistakes.
However, I don't think it has taken anything away from the peice, and im very happy with it! Just as usual, I used my Washburn X50 PRO, and Line 6 Pod XT, and EZDrummer Drumkit From Hell for the drum track. The acoustic is a Johnson electro acoustic guitar, which is also passing through the POD, on an acoustic preset. I must say, pretty nice sound for £50! =D
For this track, I decided to include some "bass". However, it isn't actually bass, it's my guitar recorded clean, pitch shifted down an octave. At first, I was a little wary of this technique, but im quite pleased with the results it has created, it certainly gives the music more depth.
Also, there is a Mellotron and an Organ included, which are both some free VSTi's that I downloaded recently.
So anyway, I put alot of time into this one, and I hope you enjoy it!
