Yeah there were many different Indo-European languages spoken in Anatolia, even before the Greeks got there. Luwian (which probably included the Trojan language), Hittite, Palaic, etc.

The Turks have about 1/7th of their ancestry dated to the Turkic invasion of Anatolia from Turkic tribes of the steppe. Their remaining ancestry is indeed pre Turkic. Furthermore this model's homeland is only in Eastern Anatolia, not all of Anatolia. Btw, the Iranians have been speaking Indo-European for at least 3,000 years.

The first Turkic people lived between Central Asia and Siberia from around the 6th Century BC. They are not native to Anatolia, though DNA evidence suggests the Turks (who invaded Anatolia in the 11th century) bred with the earlier Anatolian peoples. The language of the turks is completely unrelated to IE. The language of the Hittites of Anatolia was an early branch of IE, but a branch which died out. This branch did NOT father any modern IE languages, which instead sprung from other IE branches
