Flight Training at Embry Riddle (garmin glass cockpit)

Practicing touch and go's/go arounds in a cessna 172 equipped with garmin g1000 glass cockpit technology! This was a training flight with ERAU (embry riddle aeronautical university) located in Daytona Beach, FL.
The video starts out with the takeoff from KDAB and then we move a little up the coast to practice our touch and go's/go arounds at a nearby airport located in Flagler, FL.

I know its a drag but stick to your maths and sciences for the Aeronautical Science degree at Embry. Try and achieve higher in the easier classes like gym, art, etc... to compensate for lower math and science grades if you aren't as great in them like I am.

I want to go there so bad. I'm a sophomore in high school and I'm working on my ppl right now. I'll get my ppl when I'm 17 and I have a gpa a little over a 3.0. Does anyone know if this is good enough to get in

well you need a fairly high gpa to get accepted and be prepaired to pay alot :S

@CrimsonGetsu if you have above a 2.5 you will get in. Its not as hard to get in as some people think

i got accepted to daytona, but im still trying to decide if i want to go or not. i applied for science in aeronautics, and want to be a naval pilot, but i've been hearing different things about this school and im not sure if i want to go yet.

Yeah a 3.0 sounds pretty good. I just got accepted for the fall 2011 term and i had a 2.7 at the time i submitted my app. Just make sure your 3.0 is backed by tough courses and some extracurriculars and you should be good.

@CrimsonGetsu haha taanks great advice.. but i mean is there any sugestive cources.. since im a junior and im pretty much done with all the requirements and core courses and im taking dual credit.. and i was considering an early release schedule unless ERAU would rather see alternative classes in my transcript

If you don't have the money, go major in another field in University and fly on an FBO.. it's the best and most economical route. However, I am in love with these 3 amazing schools.
