The Digitech Hardwire SC-2 Valve Distortion Pedal is one of those pedals you try one time and realize the designers thought of everything. Built to last years on the road, anything that could be made of metal on this Hardwire Distortion, is. Constant Voltage through the life of the battery ensures the sound does not "sag" if the battery begins to die out. The Hardwire Valve Distortion Pedal gives you full power until the battery dies then immediately enters true bypass mode so the show can go on. Add to all that the Stomplock guard which keeps your settings from being altered when one of your groupies jumps onstage and bumps the pedal. Brilliant Digitech Hardwire Valve Distortion SC-2.

I play a Strat, I barely use this on the saturated mode. Use it with level around 9 o clock, gain at 2 and it's a great boost on top of my TS9. This is such an underrated pedal. One of those pedals that will fly under the radar because it's made by Digitech. This can do whatever you want. No better value

It's gonna fall on deaf ears but this is as much gain as you need for any sort of metal...the more gain, the worse overall the band sounds

Uhmm....this pedal sounds more amp like than 75% of the boutique stuff listed at PGS. I honestly think this SC2 CRUSHES the Lovetone Provalve and anything fr Pigtronix. BUT before you rip me, it's my opinion only. AND for everyone's sake...tone is subjective. Like everything else in life, so if you like it, like it. IF you dont like it, move on.
my SC2 is on order and I'll leave a clip when I have had a go at it.
