Anders Rival Romance: Beginning to End

This is from my play through of Dragon Age 2 as a very confused and grumpy blood mage who had a rival romance with Anders. This is all of the pieces of dialogue in game between them strung together like a movie. Enjoy!

@demongal107 Flirt with both of them, then in act 2 focus on the Fenris relationship first. When he walks out on you then focus on Anders and you can basically rebound with Anders. :)

This is a great video but I have a question. I'm trying the rivalmance w/ my male Hawke and I was wondering do I have to be to Anders every chance I get not including flirting options and do I need to bring him with me on all my quest? Thanks for the video. Please respond as soon as you can.

@ArsRagnarok My philosophy is to bring him everywhere and always do things you think will piss him off any chance you get. Send mages to the circle. Side with templars. Say mages are dangerous, etc. Do a save before anything comes up that may be a big event so in case you say the wrong thing and get friendship points you can re-do it. Get him max rival as early in the game as possible, flirt every chance you get and you'll be golden.

@epicdolls Thanks for the help but I have another question. Did you take Anders with you into the Fade? If so what choices did you make. I'm a little confused on how to approach this one.

29:23 if you choose the humor dialogue option before you give him the key, then you get a different response from anders which is so sweet that i reloaded my game over and over again to watch.

@purplezoni if you refuse to do his justice quest then he won't ask you to be fugitives together with him (mages' side) or even consider fighting along side you (templars' side).

@eji313 fenris was the one who betrayed me in the fade... fun. good thing i took away his sword right before that happened lol. anders will stick with you to the end if you rivalmance him, complete his companion quests, and choose the right dialogue options... even if you side with the templars.

i don't know about you all, but i have a surprisingly easy time pissing off anders to full rivalmance. i couldn't help but giggle everytime he got into a hissy fit over something i did.... is something wrong with me?

I have always been so kind not to do rival romance but now that I see your video I might think about it .
