A new finding by the Reason-Rupe Public Opinion Survey shows a majority of Americans dissatisfied with the health care law being debated in the Supreme Court while simultaneously confused about the role of government in current health care policy.
"About 40 percent [of Americans] thought it wasn't regulated enough," explains Reason Polling Director Emily Ekins. When it comes to health care reform, "it's hard to move forward if people aren't clear as to what the market currently looks like."
Reason.tv's Nick Gillespie sat down with Ekins to discuss the poll's findings, what Americans think about the current health care system, and the misconceptions surrounding regulation in the health care market.
The Reason-Rupe survey is online here:

The ban on buying health insurance from another state blatantly violates the Commerce Clause.

The reason why the mandate for people to have health insurance was put in the bill was because the fact that if insurance companies cannot charge more for people with a medical history they are just flat out not going to insure them
