Bose 205 getting new woofers

Well yea. i did not like the original woofers.. I had some other bose woofers layin' around doin nothin' So I thought to give them a try
The excursion is far more now. The cones can reach the cloth on the speaker grills.. Awesome. Well but do they sound better..??
well they still are bose...

@vdennis ya sure ur bose 205 speakers were ok? sure its needs sub support but compared to my 300 watt subs there not that bad
however i use them for the treble in my room

Bose woofers suck balls. I had some 501's and replaced the woofers with old school MTX Bluethunder 10's, ported the boxes, and ended up with THUMPERS.
Best way to make a Bose speaker sound better is to upgrade the woofers.

@vdennis Hmm... I guess they will be way better then the old 40W Sony speakers I have now. They have a unnatural sound with voices and play old songs from the 80's like crap. It is strange how people talk about the Bose speakers tough. The one loves them, the other one hates them. It is just like with Apple. The one loves, the other one hates it. So I guess I will have to judge for myself.
