CHAPTER 11
Saturdays have been really lazy for me lately. I mean back in Compton, I didn't have time for laziness with all the bullshit going around. I went to the mall today with Victoria to do more shopping.. I have triple the amount of clothes I had back home. I left the mall around 3:25, it's now 4:15. I hear the doorbell ring from downstairs as I arrange my new clothes.
"I'm guessing I'll have to get that," Taylor rolls his eyes as he passes by my room and walks down the stairs.
"Hey man!" that's Nick's voice at the door what the hell is he doing here?
"Hey, what the hell are you doing here?" Taylor asks, wow, my thoughts exactly.
"Here for my date with Selena," he replies. Does he not know what "no" means?
"DATE?" Taylor exclaims," Okay man, wait here, let me go get her.
I hear his footsteps slam against the hardwood floor as he charges into my room.
"You have a date with Nick!?" he exclaims closing the door behind him.
"No, he just can't take rejection very well," I sigh closing my closet door.
"You rejected him? Well, that's a first," he says leaning against my door.
"Why do you care if I go out with him or not?" I eye him suspiciously.
"Look Selena," he looks into my eyes," I have feelings for you, and I don't know how to get rid of them."
"Interesting, well if you didn't know, people kind of know us as cousins," I scoff slightly backing away from him.
"I know, I know! That's what drives me crazy! How I can like a girl, but no one can know!" he begins to pace around.
"So what now?" I shrug, this conversation is going downhill.
"I just...," he stops and looks up at me.
Omigosh, I never noticed how clear and brown his eyes were. What is coming over me!? One second I'm calling his an arrogant douche and-damn, what is he doing? He's moving closer, I think he's going to kiss me! What am I supposed to do? Kiss back idiot! Right! Wait...no that's wrong, really wrong-Omigosh we're kissing already. This is so crazy, but wow, he has got to be one of the best kissers ever. Shut up Selena, don't say that! Damn, I think I'm enjoying this! Someone help me! The kiss just ended, he's looking at me, why the hell is this so awkward?
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't of done that," he sighs looking at his feet.
No it's perfectly fine. Idiot, don't think it, say it!
"Oh well it's perfectly fine," I laugh nervously, stupid voices in my head.
"You better go, Nick's waiting," Taylor says opening my door for me.
"Really? I mean, after what we just talked about," I say hesitantly. What do you mean talked? You two just made out! Shut up voice!
"Let's just pretend like none of it ever happened," he tells me as he urges me on.
I awkwardly walk down the stairs, looking over my shoulder to see Taylor just standing there smiling at me. Stupid hot, self-absorbed guy that's supposed to be my cousin but not. "Bon soir mademoiselle," Nick smiles charmingly as he takes my hand.
"What do you think you're doing?" I snap at him as he almost kisses the top of my hand.
"Forgive me, but might I say, you look ravishing tonight?" he grins looking me up and down.
"It's jean and a t-shirt," I retort taking a step back from him.
"Well, it looks lovely," he continues his French gentleman impersonation.
"Okay, stop with the accent, and let's get this over with," I slap his shoulder and walk out the door.
He follows my lead all the way to his car, his eyes scanning me up and down. I grin at the creep. I might just enjoy this evening, though thoughts of Taylor continue to swirl in the back of my mind.

Aha, at first I thought Taylor and Selena make a good couple.
But now I like Nelena and Stelena since Taylor barely talks to her now other then now.
