@gtfreal True. It's just that many ppl didn't know that the "steel" method of playing was also used in blues guitar (back in the day). Most ppl are familiar with the hollow slide (metal or bottleneck), and some are familiar with the use of a pocketknife. Since a solid steel calls for a slightly different tuning of the string (also taking into account the raised strings on a lap steel), it would be somewhat different.

Have you set up the bridge to be a straight line?
Good playing man, nice melody ideas.
Try not tapping your foot when you are using a backing beat; you'll prolly find it locks in tighter.

im tune open ei was just playing along with a program on my computer frutyloop iwas using a peavy 150 rage amp and a morley pedal
